All of our customers with whom I have spoken tell me that they really love the service. As the designer/builder of the system, it is extremely gratifying to think that I am helping so many people who live alone feel more cared for so that they can live longer in their homes. This tops my career in the IT industry from a personal satisfaction point of view. Just yesterday I spoke with a customer, who had some questions about the system and he spontaneously came out with “You are doing a great job, keep it up”. You should have seen the smile on my face when I put the phone down.
When we started Iamfine, we targeted one type of person only, senior citizens who live alone. In particular, we were concerned about our mother and that she would never be more than a day without some contact with her care circle. We never imagined the different reasons why some people choose to use the service. Check out our use cases for more examples. We were even contacted recently by someone who was concerned that their donor body would be freshly available to their local hospital upon their death. Although somewhat morbid, this is a perfectly good use of Iamfine.
We recently added the feature to allow loved ones to check in via SMS (as well as the three other ways to check in). Even before we announced the capability for general use, one customer spotted the new feature and now checks in daily by sending an “OK” SMS. Just one click from a mobile phone and their care circle know that they are ok.

Thanks for this service. It helps me know my aging Mom is OK.
